Production Work
This page showcases my work as a songwriter in response to professional-style artist briefs. Each project demonstrates my ability to interpret creative direction and stylistic references into original material that aligns with both the artistic intent and commercial expectations.
Through these works, I explore collaboration, adaptability, and the process of developing music that is not only emotionally expressive but also suitable for real-world industry contexts.

Bad decisions: Written & Produced for George Gadd (Artist Brief)
Project Overview
This track was developed in response to a professional songwriting brief for George Gadd, a UK-based folk/punk singer-songwriter known for combining energetic, live-driven instrumentation with emotionally honest and conversational lyricism. The brief outlined creating a mid-to-up-tempo track that captures themes of perseverance, mental health, and community, while maintaining a strong sense of authenticity and audience connection, drawing on stylistic influences such as Frank Turner, Against Me!, and The Gaslight Anthem. The track was designed to balance raw, punk-influenced energy with melodic, emotionally resonant songwriting.
Within this project, I took on the role of primary songwriter and performer, whilst also contributing to some of the musical composition. As the brief was released within an academic context, I performed the lead vocal on the final recorded output. This allowed me to fully shape the delivery and ensure it aligned with the stylistic qualities outlined in the brief, including a direct, expressive vocal approach suited to the genre.
Overall, the project demonstrates my ability to interpret and respond to a defined artist brief and create a professionally presented piece of music.
